I counted my christmas cards tonight and I appear to have about 12, where I need at least as much as 18 or something. So I got right into my stash to make some more! This card is made with a clear stamp of My Favorite Things, design paper by Alisha Gordon and a sentiment by Little Miss Evie. I love the paper!

Made this card with a painting technique called "Shadow Painting", which makes use of water paint and a special liner that prevents bleeding of the colors. Love the design papers that come with them, so couldn't wait to make some cards. Here are the first two!

New Christmas idea

For this card I didn't color any image, but used some nice design paper of Authentique and combined it with one of my newest dies by Memory Box. They have lovely dies for borders that don't cut the lower part of your paper off. The sentiment is a clear stamp by Marianne Design.

This is one of my first christmas cards of the year. I don't really have those christmas-feelings yet, but well.. you have to start right? It took me quite some time, trail and error to find the right lay-out for this card. Had to remove and replace a lot, but I'm quite happy with the result. The image is by Tiddly Inks.

New bike!

The parents of my boyfried gave me a bike a few weeks ago! They had one left and I had a very crappy one at home, so I was very lucky that I could have theirs. To thank them for their generosity, i made them this card. I used a rubber stamp from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Today I thought to give a try to long curled hair, as I just finished this part of the Kit & Clowder coloring classes. The image is by Simply Betty Stamps and well... it turned out pretty good in my opinion! I'm not so sure about the card itself, but pretty happy with the coloring at least.

Started coloring another image, but that turned out to be a little mess, so then I made this one. The image is from Whimsie Doodles. This card is made with a Magnolia stamp, design paper from Kars and some tags from a paper pack of Papermania. As I started, I found it hard to fit my colored image with any design paper, but in the end I'm very happy with this result. What some embellies/tags can do for a card...

Today I couldn't even longer resist all the discounts provided by Kit & Clowder at their Facebook 3000 member party. This fabulous group grows as we speak and I can only recommend becoming a member. I bought some digi images from All Dressed Up, and this shopping girl is one of them I made into a card today. Quite happy with the result! 

The E04 marker appears not to only be perfect for the cast shadows on her skin, but also for giving an "old-pink" look to her clothes. This is also the first time I used a border die (this one is by Stampin' Up) and I love the result.

Just a new card for this weekend! I tried to make some extra pleads and I'm quite pleased with the result. And what to think of those nice Heart Flowers? I gave them an extra shine with diamond Stickles. When I started coloring them there didn't seem to be any direction or whatsoever, but the final result is quite nice I think.

Simply Gorjuss

Today I bought my first Distress Ink: walnut stain. Decided to buy one first, to see if I would like the technique. My first try turned out pretty well, I think. Off course I need some practice to prevent harsh stripes and stuff, but still I'm already happy with this result. I used a rubber stamp of Gorjuss, still one of my favorites. Just finished this card. I stamped the two different images of My Favorite Things next to each other and used one of my new die cut sets. I colored them with copics, in my favorite colors (green and blue!). I really like these hexagons! Today I used the sketch of challenge #5 of Sketch N' Dies. It became a real spring card, isn't it?

Just because

I found out a new crafting shop in my neighbourhood, so I took my bike and cycled to the shop this afternoon. It sells a lot of dies, stamps, embossing folder and all kind of accessory crafting stuff. Happy me! Although I don't know if this shop so nearby will do any good for my bank account ;)

One of the dies I bought is from a set by Nellie Snellen. I used this to make this CAS card. The sentiment is made with a alphabet set from Paper Smooches.

Unfrogettable

After spending a lot of time on my study this weekend, I finally found some time for crafting tonight. I saw the sketch of Unscripted Sketches on Paper Playful and decided to use this as a start for my card. I used washi tape for making the stripes and a cute stamp from Paper Smooches on top of it.

My last entry for today :) My sister brought some dies and embossing folders, so I could use these clouds for this card. Since I don't have a die for grass yet, I cut the grass myself. The stamp is from My Favorite Things. As you can see, I used blue, green and yellow for all three cards this afternoon. One of my favorite combinations!

Tiddly Inks - Go green

I really liked to join the Green challenge at Tiddly Inks Challenge blog, but didn't have time this week to actually color an image and make a card. Although I tried several times coloring this image, it didn't become what I wanted to be. I struggled with the hair, the color combos, the dress.. almost everything. But finally, this Friday evening I did a better job. I think it's the weekend spirit that's needed for crafting ;)

Hi all, nice to see you around again. Tonight I'd like to show you this card I made with a stamp from Paper Smooches. As an inspiration for this card I used the sketch #197 of Sunday Sketch & Stamp and the colors of Sunday Stamps! challenge 71. These colors went so well with the image, I really like the combination. This card also fits to join The Corrosive Challenge: "Animals" and the Card a Day Blog challenge "Baby".
